Fundraising Idea’s

Hello reader’s,

As you can see on my fundrasing page, you can see that the auction we well, we have also have a fund day that made more money than a number of years b and have a quiz night coming up in October and a fire work display in the pipeline, But I’m still trying to find  ways to make more money for the scout group. So I’ve been on the old internet again and decided to go and play golf – not on-line but on the real course, not sure when or where but it should be a good laugh have dozens of people playing golf and the money going to scouting. Once i know more all you lovely reads will be the 1st to know.

oh where to go … or not!!

Hello Readers,

Well I popped in to great tower today, well the site looks amazing, but it all seamed to of stoped there. For 1st impressions the member of staff I spoke to on reception wasn’t the most help full, more off-putting for a group possibly looking at coming up from Avon, and then there’s the activity price list, unless your taking your own instructor for every activity you want to do it’s not cheap. So it may not be worth the 250mile ish trip up the M5/M6. So I’m off to Scout base to look at other options to take my little darlings.

Oh where to go!!!

Hello readers,

As I’m sat here looking over  Windermere (the lake that is), I’m thinking that it could be a good place to take scouts  on a camp, but with so many places in Cumbria to take scout to but having a good thing about great tower. Then its just down to getting scouts up to the lake district,  and then not forgetting what to do with the little darlings while where here.

Well as the connections getting slower her on site, I think it  time to be off .
